"A" SERIES SURVIVAL / BUSHCRAFT KNIVES

 The "A" Series are my high end survival knives. They are made from a premium grade of stainless steel called CPM S35VN. It is a particle steel that was designed specifically for knives and has been triple tempered and cryoed twice in between tempers to 100 degrees below zero. Quality starts with the heat treating and Newt or I do our own to make sure it is right. I also offer Chad Nichols stainless steel damascus as an option extra. I offer options of sawteeth and / or firesteel grooves and / or wirebreaker on the spine for some of them. I use stainless steel guards on them that are hand made and attached with silver solder. The guard slides on over the handle and bumps up against stops that I have milled into the blank. The standard handle material is black G10, but if you prefer Black, Green, or Natural Micarta I can put that on as standard also. Other colors of G10 and Micarta are extra as well carbon fiber, woods and other exotic materials. There are several ways to retain handles - hollow pins, solid pins, or sex bolts. Socket head screws can be used on some. All of them have 2 ton epoxy added between the handle scales and the tang for extra retention as well as sealing out any moisture. I put them in my custom Martin Multicarry Sheath that you can get in black or brown. Attachments are also available that will mount to the front of the sheath that carry different items such as firestarter, survival tin, sharpener.
